Scientechnic Building Technologies (BTD) recently completed and handed over the entire firefighting and protection system for the extravagant Residence Collection, which forms part of the Al Habtoor City, a landmark nine-hectare Hospitality, Residential and Leisure complex situated on the banks of the Dubai Water Canal.

This was a large scale project undertaken by Building Technologies that involved the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Fire pump sets, piping networks for Sprinklers, Hose reels and stand pipes, Fire extinguishers, Hydrant network for the complete plot area, Pre-action system for lifts room, as well as Foam and Clean agent Gas systems, with a selection of the

best-in-class brands from BTD’s exclusive partner portfolio. Apart from this, to ensure Safety and Protection from any industrial fire hazards or mishaps throughout the construction phase of five years for the properties, the team installed a temporary 24×7 live Firefighting system. This led to a safety milestone of 40 million man-hours without LTI for which the client awarded the Scientechnic Safety officer.

Al Habtoor Residency, an Al Habtoor Real Estate development, consists of three luxury residential towers – Noora, Amna and Meera – two 73-storeys tall and one, a 52-storey housing a total of 1427 apartments ranging from one to four-bedrooms, lofts and penthouses.
