Bloom Marina is a landmark project offering upscale residences, executive serviced apartments, health clubs, a hotel, cafes and restaurants. The project is located in the Marina Al Bateen area. The Lighting Solutions division offered design, supply, supervision of installation, testing and commissioning of myRoom Plus, Guest Room Management solutions and Alena QS Drapery track system. The Sheet Metal Manufacturing division manufactured and supplied Scientechnic steel enclosures to the project to accommodate the Lutron guest room management system components and accessories.

Each of the hotel rooms is equipped with a customized myRoom Plus guest room management system enabling the guest to control the lighting, air conditioning and the window shades using aesthetically pleasing, elegant looking and simple to use Lutron’s Palladiom series wall mounted controls.

The rooms and apartments are networked to a central control point, wherein integration with the hotel property management system and building management system is done to allow central and automated controls of the room functionality during room check in / out and room occupancy. This allows the property manager to control the energy in the building and associated costs. Integration with room access control system was also included to enable room controls based on its occupancy.

The windows in the rooms were equipped with Lutron Alena QS motorized drapery track system for control of the window shades. These high quality cost effective tracks offer quiet and smooth performance with a button press or automated controls through the central guest room management system or manually with a gentle pull of the shades, with no damage to fabric or system.
