Tunnel management system
The Dubai Airport tunnel is the longest and the widest tunnel in the Middle East, connecting Al Qusais in the north to Al Khawaneej in the south of Dubai. The tunnel is designed to ease traffic flow and reduce congestion from Dubai to the Northern Emirates and vice-versa. The Mobility division won this prestigious turnkey project for the supply, installation, commissioning of the Tunnel Management System.
It also included supervisory control and monitoring of electrical systems such as MDBS, SMDBS, UPS and generator, traffic sign control data acquisition, jet fan control based on CO levels in the tunnel, pump control for drainage and sewage pumping stations, access control and monitoring, fire detection and automated response functions, smoke detection and automated response functions.
