Scientechnic CEO, Easa F. Al Gurg met with Francesco Fanciulli, Executive Vice President, Energy Products of the Prysmian Group.
The Prysmian Group is an Italian multinational corporation headquartered in Milan that manufactures electric power transmission and telecommunications cables and systems. The world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, increased its stake in Oman Cables Industry (OCI) to approximately 51% in 2015, thus gaining majority stake.
OCI is a top cable manufacturer in the Gulf Cooperation Council region and is active in the development and manufacturing of a totally integrated variety of electrical cables and conductors for diverse applications.
Scientechnic has been in partnership with OCI for several years and together they have provided cables of the highest international standards and quality to infrastructure projects across the region.
The meeting focused on discussing ways of strengthening the partnership and expanding the product portfolio of the company within the region. Also present in the meeting were Antonio Chiantore, ME Managing Director, Prysmian Group and Rahul Anand, Assistant Regional Manager, OCI.
