Scientechnic’s blue-collar staff enjoy a fun evening

The Human Capital department organized dhow cruise and desert safari for the company’s blue-collar staff coinciding with International Workers’ Day.

More than 250 employees were given the option of choosing between a traditional dhow cruise and a desert safari. While the Sheet Metal Factory division’s workers picked the safari followed by a barbecue dinner, camel rides and dune buggy rides, Scientechnic’s other blue collar staff enjoyed a pleasant evening on a decorated cruise ship. The ship sailed through the calm and illuminated length of the Dubai Creek, passing Dubai Chamber of Commerce and the Souq. The evening included live music and a mesmerizing tanoura dance. Employees that went on the desert safari enjoyed a large barbeque dinner, followed by camel rides, Arabic music tunes and sand-boarding.
