The event was organised by the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi City Municipality and saw good participation from Government Officials.
The event ran over two consecutive days at Bab Al Qasr Hotel, Abu Dhabi and witnessed great participation from the region, predominantly government officials and their affiliates. Contributing to the events product showcase, was Trimax – the ideal street lighting solution to meet the demands of a smart and safe city.
David Andrew Dunn, Lighting Expert at Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities, Abu Dhabi Municipality shared at the event recent updates
made to ADM’s Lighting Manual last published in 2016. The new version will soon be revised and made available to lighting manufacturers and suppliers.
Other topics that took center stage in the form of presentations and panel discussions were – the benefits and psychological impact of lighting, lighting control systems, solar lighting and micro-grid solar storage, and a manufacturer’s guide on LEDs.
