Scientechnic is the channel partner for Oxford Nanopore Technologies in the GCC region.
The visit included a four day application training programme for MinION, GridION and PromethION with library preparation (Flowcell). Apart from a tour of the facility there were discussions on enhancing customer support in the areas of onsite training, troubleshooting and building technical proposals. Zain Zaidi, Business Development Manager and Shivang Agarwal, Assistant Business Development Manager represented Scientechnic.
Oxford Nanopore Technologies were given an overview of Scientechnic, its team, business units, logistics and sales system. Discussions focused on current operations of the Life Sciences team and the logistical requirements of the region. The NGS validations performed and support required by FAS along with market opportunities, KSA registrations, sales plan, target for 2019 and the support required were on the agenda.
