    Life Sciences and Healthcare visit Al Jalila Foundation

    Zain Zaidi and Farha Khatoon from Life Sciences and Healthcare, together with Dr. Bhupinder Hundle from ONT visited the foundation.

    Welcomed by Athiq Ahmed, Laboratory Manager and Supervisor from Mohammed Bin Rashid University (MBRU), the team were given a tour of the state-of-the art and newly opened molecular, proteomics and genomics laboratories at the foundation. The laboratory has been assigned to the faculty of MBRU for research purposes for developing personalised medicine and aims to conduct extensive clinical research to identify contributing factors leading to health conditions like Cardiovascular diseases, Thalassemia, Diabetes, Obesity, etc. prevalent in this part of the world.

    The Life Sciences and Healthcare division of Scientechnic has been working closely with Al Jalila Foundation to help implement a wide array of genomics and molecular solutions.

    Scientechnic is the channel partner of Oxford Nanopore Technologies in the GCC and together they aim to deliver high performance and novel DNA/RNA sequencing technology to the region.
