Scientechnic and NEB showcased biotech advancements and led hands-on PCR workshops at the University of Birmingham Dubai
Scientechnic Life Sciences, in collaboration with New England Biolabs (NEB), participated in the Research Seminar Series at the University of Birmingham Dubai, engaging academic leaders and students in the latest advancements in biotechnology and molecular biology.
Represented by Nourin Shakeeb (Field Application Specialist) and Naveen Roger (Assistant Sales Manager), the Scientechnic team presented key developments in genetic engineering, cell culture technologies, gene editing, and NEB’s specialized reagents for DNA extraction and PCR. The sessions highlighted practical applications in biomedical research and
synthetic biology, drawing strong interest from deans, professors, and research associates. To complement the presentations, interactive lab workshops offered hands-on experience in PCR, DNA sequencing, and molecular biology techniques—including MINI PCR systems. Attendees received tailored NEB demo kits to support their ongoing research, enhancing both technical capabilities and application knowledge.
