Can Collection Drive 2018

An initiative started in 1997 by the Emirates Environmental Group, Can Collection Drive 2018 aims to create a cleaner and greener environment through the recycling of aluminum cans.

Scientechnic is one of the many corporate firms, educational institutes and families that have registered for the event which will include collecting of aluminum cans and dropping them at designated sites across the UAE. Over the course of a month, participants need to collect a minimum quantity of 35 kilograms of cans. Educating staff and creating a culture that encourages recycling and waste management is key. Unlike a lot of other materials, cans are 100% recyclable and can be recycled over and over without any change to the quality.
