The Life Sciences team conducted a session on Molecular Biology during the hands-on training program at RAK Medical & Health Sciences University, engaging over 100 participants from leading UAE Universities.
Scientechnic Life Sciences (LS) were participants at the hands-on training program in Basics of Laboratory Animal Handling & Experimental Techniques, organized by RAK Medical & Health Sciences University (RAKMHSU) and led by Dr. Shakta Mani Satyam, attended by over 100 participants. The session introduced students and researchers to key techniques in gene expression analysis, including RNA extraction using the Monarch® Total RNA Miniprep Kit and one-step RT-qPCR with the Luna® Universal One-Step RT-qPCR Kit from New England Biolabs (NEB). Participants from Khalifa University, RAKMHSU, Gulf Medical University(GMU), Ajman University, University of Sharjah,
and American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) explored the full workflow from RNA isolation to real-time analysis demonstrating the reliability and efficiency of NEB’s solutions. In addition to the training, the LS team showcased a range of advanced tools including Abcam Rapid ELISA and Lightning-Link® Conjugation Kits, Integrated DNA Technologies’s Oligo Synthesis Technologies and Condalab’s Microbiology Media. The session reinforced Scientechnic Life Sciences’ role in advancing research capabilities and supporting the UAE’s growing biotechnology ecosystem through hands-on learning and access to world-class technologies.
