Scientechnic Life Sciences and Healthcare team has secured a Genomics project, focusing on Microbiome Sequencing for the College of Dental Medicine at Sharjah University. This initiative aims at exploring important aspects of Oral Health and Pathology. The project will focus on studying the microbial community through third-generation sequencing solutions from Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT). Scientechnic, channel partners with ONT, will provide scientific and bioinformatics support to dental scientists to execute and sequence critical oral samples.

Microbiome sequencing helps in determining the diagnosis and appropriate treatment for several ailments. The initiative will go a long way in understanding how microbial communities function and play a significant role in our well-being. The Life Sciences  division at Scientechnic has been developed to inspire scientific research and enhance well-being in the MENA region by delivering cutting-edge technology, professional expertise and efficient services to analytical and life science laboratories.
