Scientechnic Mobility obtained one of the largest road infrastructure projects in region – the Falcon ITS Dubai project, which is the region’s first Intelligent Traffic System (ITS) designed to provide real-time integrated traffic management and traveller information capability for freeways, expressways and arterial routes in Dubai as a means of reducing congestion and increasing road safety. In its capacity as main contractor, Scientechnic will carry out the supply, installation, commissioning, interface and testing of the in-station, out-station and traveler information components for this prestigious project. Commencing this year in 2004, the project is scheduled to reach completion by the end of January 2006.

A system of various traffic detectors such as CCTV cameras and radars will be installed, that would relay variable messages to signs and adaptive traffic control systems, that are connected via wireless and cable communications. This Integrated Transport System will be centered at the Dubai Municipality Control Centre, which will transmit real time messages to manage traffic flow over the radio, internet and SMS.
