Traffic management system
Mohammed Bin Rashid (MBR) Boulevard is situated around the world’s tallest tower - the Burj Khalifa and the world’s largest mall - the Dubai Mall. Due to its proximity to two of the most iconic hotspots of Dubai, the MBR Boulevard faces lot of challenges when it comes to regulating the traffic flow.
The Mobility division provided the most efficient and flexible traffic control system to address these challenges. The scope of work included the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of PC-SCOOT server. CCTV cameras were set up at strategic positions for traffic monitoring along with SCOOT loops at all traffic signals, operations and maintenance of UTC system and traffic signals.
