Scientechnic CEO, Easa F. Al Gurg joined H.E. Dr. Rashid Alleem, Chairman of Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA) to Germany.
Scientechnic is the exclusive partner of Siemens in Dubai and the Northern Emirates and the two companies celebrated 45 years of partnership last year. Scientechnic CEO, Easa F. Al Gurg and H.E. Dr. Rashid Alleem, Chairman of SEWA recently visited the headquarters of Siemens AG, Munich and their production factory in Regensburg. They were joined by the senior management team of Scientechnic namely Tanveer Shabandri – COO, Suresh Babu Narayanan Nair – Senior Vice President and Stewart Panichiyil – Vice President of the Industrial Stock Sales division and Jalaluddin Syed – Associate Vice President of the Energy Management division.
The team at Siemens led by Markus Grabmeier - Senior Vice President Manufacturing IEC , extended a warm welcome to the delegates and
showcased the latest innovations in Low Voltage solutions, including fire-prevention products such as the Arc Fault Detection Device (AFDD). One-third of all fires caused by electricity are attributed to hazardous arcing faults and the AFDD close the protection gap. The Siemens portfolio for low-voltage power distribution and electrical installation technology paves the way towards a safe, communicating and intelligent Low-Voltage network while strengthening energy efficiency - from switchgear to socket.
Apart from a tour of the production factory the visit also included discussions between Siemens, SEWA and Scientechnic on collectively lending products and solutions to fulfill the ambitious goals of the Emirate of Sharjah.
