The Energy Management division of Scientechnic has a Switchgear Assembly Unit and a Sheet Metal Enclosures manufacturing factory in Jebel Ali.
A part of our commitment towards the community is to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators and towards that endeavour, a visit to Energy Management’s Switchgear Assembly Factory was organised for the students of the Australian School of Abu Dhabi. Students of grade eight and eleven gained knowledge on the critical role switchgears play in the electric power system.
Following an insightful presentation on efficient energy management, electricity generation, transmission and distribution they were taken for a tour of the factory where they got to see switchgear components and the assembly process in detail. Since Scientechnic also manufactures metal enclosures for switchgears the students witnessed how metal sheets are punched and powder coated and made to fit the unique requirements of projects.
The state-of-the-art TRUMPF punching machine was of interest to the students. Over two days, approximately fifty students visited the factory and learnt the fundamentals of switchgear, their assembly and the central role it plays in an electrical set up.
The Energy Management division of Scientechnic delivers the most comprehensive transmission and distribution solutions for all industries along with consultation, design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, commissioning and maintenance services of high-quality Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear, Low Voltage (LV) switchgear panels,
