    Year: 2014   |   Location: Dubai

    Turnkey fire safety solutions

The Waterfront Market is a brand-new, cleaner, air-conditioned retail space with state-of-the-art technology and hygiene measures. It is designed to be a hub for all fresh food shopping in the region, featuring butchers, vegetable traders and dried goods merchants, as well as fishermen. The new market will be joined by waterfront apartments, an extension to Deira Souk, retail and leisure complexes and more. The Waterfront Market is spread over an area of 120,000 square metres, making it one of the largest fish markets in the Middle East.

The Building Technologies division offered intelligent and reliable turnkey fire safety solutions to the entire market. The scope of work included the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fire detection and alarm system, public address and voice evacuation system, fire man emergency telephone system and central battery emergency lighting system.

Scientechnic also offered the centrally monitored emergency lighting system self contained, Sinorix FM-200 fire suppression system, fire fighting system yard hydrant, sprinkler and deluge foam system and fire pump for the entire market.
