FIRE WATER BACK UP PIPE LINE CONTROL AND MONITORING SYSTEM,
FIRE WATER BACK UP PIPE LINE CONTROL AND MONITORING SYSTEM,

Complete Control package including, design, engineering, Supply, installation, commissioning and training for the complete scope. The plant control is divided into four section has QPS PUMPING HOUSE, TAPOFF STATION, FIELD SUBSTATION AT MOT, ADCOP CRUDE OIL TERMINAL. This all the stations are linked together over redundant fiber optic ring network over Industrial Ethernet TCP/IP.


 QPS PUMPING HOUSE is only one operator monitoring station is installed for monitoring the pipe line flow and pressure.
 
TAPOFF STATION control section is control and monitoring the pipe line flow and pressure. A Master PLC station is Siemens Hot redundant S7- 400 PLC and 2 no of remote I/O stations are Siemens ET200M with I/O modules for remote control and monitoring several, transmitters and motorized valves. The remote I/O panels are connected with the master PLC through redundant fiber optic ring network over PROFIBUS DP.
 
FIELD SUBSTATION AT MOT control section is control and monitoring the pipe line flow and pressure. A Master PLC station is Siemens Hot redundant S7- 400 PLC and 4 no of remote I/O stations are Siemens ET200M with I/O modules for remote control and monitoring several, transmitters and motorized valves. The remote I/O panels are connected with the master PLC through redundant fiber optic ring network over PROFIBUS DP.
 
ADCOP CRUDE OIL TERMINAL is the main control center of the system. Both the PLC sections are linked with the two SCADA station through Fiber optic ring network over Industrial Ethernet. The total plant time synchronized through GPS Clock over NTP SERVER.
 
The network management system is providing to monitor the network components status.

PLC BASED LPG PUMPING AND MONITORING SYSTEM , Turkmenistan

 Complete Supply & Site Commissioning of WinCC Process SCADA, VFD Panels, PLC Control Panel, ESD Panels F&G Control Panel and Single Mode FOC Based Industrial Ethernet Distributed RTU Network for LPG Pipeline Monitoring of 30km length.
A PLC based Control System has provided for monitoring & control purposes of the process operations automatically, from A to Z, at Kianly LPG Terminal. The PLC panel receiving signals from and sending signals to field mounted instruments, will be installed in control room. The SCADA software to be loaded in on operator workstation shall be also present for monitoring & control of the PLC system.


·   All instruments shown in the P & ID including pressure, flow, temperature, level indication and transmission devices, will be incorporated on the process PLC for automatic process control and monitoring purposes.
·   Flow metering and control devices at loading arms, shall be incorporated on the process PLC for monitoring & control of loading /unloading operations at these points automatically.
·   Three sets of fire fighting pumps and one set of jockey pump, shall be commanded from and monitored on the process PLC/SCADA system.
·   Medium & low Voltage circuit breakers status shall be monitored on the process PLC.
·   Nitrogen producing plant and air compressor station Parameters will be monitored on the process PLC.
·   Flow parameter at the beginning and ending points of the TB-KL pipeline shall be also incorporated for leakage warning & prevention purposes, along the TB-KL pipeline.
·   A fiber-optic cable as the communication Link, to transmit information from Kianly Control Centre to that of Turkmenbashi, has been foreseen. This link which is going to be run along with the TB-KL pipeline, shall provide the inter-connection for data exchange between these two terminals.
·   Motorized valves mounted on the above mentioned pipeline are to be monitored and controlled at both terminals, through the fiber – optic link, via adequate converters.

Complete Control package including, design, engineering, Supply, installation, commissioning and training for the complete scope. The SCADA system involves Master PLC stations using Siemens redundant S7- 400 PLC and 4 no of remote I/O station for control and monitor the compressor and dryer operations. Each compressor and dryer is having the indudual remote I/O racks for control and monitoring of transmitters and valves. The remote I/O panels are connected with the master PLC through PROFIBUS DP interface Network at a speed of 1.5Mbits/s. The Master PLC stations are linked with to panel mounted Industrial grad Panel PC through industrial Ethernet at a speed of 100Mbits/s. This control system is interfaced with the plant Honeywell DCS through MODBUS TCP/IP over industrial Ethernet.

Complete Control package including, design, engineering, Supply, installation, commissioning and training for the complete scope. The plant control is divided into two section has Substation-2 control section and Main Control section.


Substation-2 control section is control and monitoring the 33KV switchgear, transformers. A Master PLC station is Siemens standalone S7- 400 PLC and 4 no of remote I/O stations are Siemens ET200M with I/O modules remote control and monitoring several, breakers. The remote I/O panels are connected with the master PLC through PROFIBUS DP. 33 KV switchgear protection relays and Power monitoring units are communication to the main PLC via PROFIBUS DP interface.
 
Main control section is control and monitoring the Conveyers, Ship Loading and Unloading area, Silos 11KV switchgear. A Master PLC station is Siemens standalone S7- 400 PLC and 4 no of remote I/O stations are Siemens ET200M with I/O modules for remote control and monitoring several, transmitters and motorized valves. The remote I/O panels are connected with the master PLC through PROFIBUS DP. 33 switchgear protection relays and Power monitoring units are communication to the main PLC via PROFIBUS DP interface.
 
This both the sections are linked with the central redundant SCADA server. Substation-2 PLC is linked with the Server SCADA through Fiber optic ring network over Industrial Ethernet and Main control station PLC is linked with the Server station through Industrial Ethernet. Three client stations have been connected with redundant SCADA station. This SCADA section is linked with the Plant control section with firewall protection.

The SCADA system involves Master PLC stations using Siemens hot redundant S7- 400 PLC and 6 remote I/O station for remote control and monitoring of LV & MV switchgears, HVAC and Diesel generator. The remote I/O panels are connected with the master PLC through fiber optic ring network through PROFIBUS DP interface Network at a speed of 1.5Mbits/s. The Master PLC stations are linked with to Central SCADA station through industrial Ethernet at a speed of 100Mbits/s. LV and MV Power monitoring units are communication to the main PLC via MODBUS RTU interface

This all the stations are linked together over redundant fiber optic ring network over Industrial Ethernet TCP/IP.


FAO ISLAND is an offshore control location this section is control and monitoring the 33KV switchgear, 11KV switchgear, Diesel generator. A Master PLC station is Siemens Hot redundant S7- 400 PLC and 3 no of remote I/O stations are Siemens ET200M with I/O modules for remote control and monitoring several breaker and intelligent motor protection relays. The remote I/O racks are connected with the master PLC through redundant Profibus DP network. 33KV and 11KV switchgear Protection relays and power monitoring units are communication with main Plc over MODBUS RTU network. Intelligent motor protection relays are communicating to the main Plc over redundant Profibus DP network using Y-coupler.
 
BEACH VALVE STATION control section is control and monitoring the 33KV switchgear, 11KV switchgear. A Master PLC station is Siemens Hot redundant S7- 400 PLC and 3 no of remote I/O stations are Siemens ET200M with I/O modules for remote control and monitoring several breaker and intelligent motor protection relays. The remote I/O racks are connected with the master PLC through redundant PROFIBUS DP network. 33KV and 11KV switchgear Protection relays and power monitoring units are communication with main Plc over MODBUS RTU network. Intelligent motor protection relays are communicating to the main Plc over redundant Profibus DP network using Y-coupler.
 
SCOUP CONTROL ROOM is the main control center of the system. This both the sections are linked with the redundant SCADA server through Fiber optic ring network over Industrial Ethernet. Client stations have been connected with redundant SCADA station. The total plant time synchronized through GPS Clock over NTP SERVER.

Conventionally,  Energy Management system was implemented using SAS(Substation Automation System). Against the requirement from Leighton for an EMS we have proposed an unique solution using PLC’s. The solution using PLC has much more flexibility as compared with SAS and is also price competitive. This distinct approach has helped us to bag the order.
